The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has barred 36 candidates from participating in UGET 2026 counselling after detecting suspected malpractice at three exam centres in Jamshedpur. A forensic audit, CCTV analysis and academic review revealed anomalies, including unusual answering patterns and alleged invigilator assistance.
Four of the candidates are among the Top 10 rank holders.
