NEET PG eligibility

Eligibility conditions are set by the conducting authority and can change each cycle. Always confirm against the official information bulletin for your year.

A recognised MBBS degree from an NMC/MCI-approved medical college.
Completed or soon-to-be-completed compulsory rotating internship as per the cycle cut-off.
Valid permanent or provisional registration with the NMC or a State Medical Council.
Indian nationals, NRIs, OCIs and foreign nationals as permitted by the current information bulletin.
Qualifying percentile as notified by the conducting authority for your category.

MD / MS

Government & private colleges

Government medical colleges

Lowest fee structure and strong clinical volume — typically the most competitive closing ranks in every state.

Deemed & private universities

Wider seat availability at higher fees. Fee structure, bond terms and stipend vary institution to institution.

DNB hospitals

Accredited hospitals with high case load, often an excellent option when the desired branch matters more than the tag.

PG counselling information

Counselling runs in multiple rounds across All India Quota and state authorities, each with its own registration, choice-filling and reporting deadlines. Round schedules and seat matrices are notified officially every cycle — we track them for you and flag the deadlines that apply to your case.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to register separately for AIQ and state counselling?

Yes. All India Quota counselling and each state's counselling are separate registrations with their own schedules, fees and document requirements.

Is DNB equivalent to MD/MS?

DNB/DrNB qualifications awarded by the National Board of Examinations are recognised postgraduate qualifications. Specific equivalence for teaching or government posts is governed by the prevailing rules of the recruiting body.

Should I prioritise the branch or the college?

It depends on your long-term plan. Our counsellors work through your rank, preferred speciality, budget and location so the preference list reflects an outcome you actually want.

What documents should I keep ready?

MBBS degree and marksheets, internship completion certificate, medical council registration, NEET PG scorecard, identity proof, category and domicile certificates where applicable.
